The semi-annual New York Fashion Week, branded Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek in 2009, is held in February and September of each year in New York City.

The first New York Fashion Week, then called Press Week, was the world's first organized fashion week. Held in 1943, the event was designed to attract attention away from French fashion during World War II. New York Fashion Week kicks off the global calendar of Fashion Weeks, and is immediately followed by Fashion Weeks in London, Milan and Paris.

Iconic Management were busy last week Networking in South Beach Miami Florida! This year’s Funkshion was a great event and as a follow up to last year's Earthquake Relief Show for Haiti. This FASHION LOVES HAITI event was held on Friday 25th and designers exhibited an array of fashion talents and achievements. The presentation shone light on the island and the role that Fashion can play in the rebuilding efforts. This was an exceptional display of creativity beyond all odds while overcoming numerous adversities.
